This chocolate protein energy balls recipe is so quick, easy and T-A-S-T-Y, we guarantee you’ll be making this one over and over again! Most of the sweetness that melts through in these gym-ready chocolate protein energy balls comes from raisins (and a dash of agave!). (Makes 10 servings)

  • 100g pecans
  • 80g raisins
  • 1 tbsp agave nectar
  • 1 small scoop HERMOSA Sculpt Chocolate Vegan Protein
  • 50g desiccated coconut
  • 35g peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder


  • Food processor
  • Fridge
  • Freezer

  1. Put the pecans in a food processor and blitz them into crumbs. Add the raisins, peanut butter, cocoa powder and agave syrup, then pulse to combine.
  2. Shape the mixture into balls and roll them in desiccated coconut to coat.
  3. Put them in the freezer for 5-10 mins and serve. They’ll be the perfect consistency for a quick boost!
  4. Now enjoy! You’ve earned this, baby!


Pop these irresistible little globules of goodness into an airtight container and then store them in the fridge for up to two weeks of freshness or in the freezer for up to three months. Perfect for a post-workout pep!


Vegan protein - If you’d rather, you can just as easily swap out the vegan protein for HERMOSA Sculpt Chocolate Whey Protein if that's more your bag. It’s packing the same protein content and banging flavour.

Agave nectar - Likewise, if you’d rather switch out the agave for honey, that totally works as well. You do you!

Nuts - If you’ve got a nut allergy or just want to mix things up a bit, you can sub out the pecans for sunflower or pumpkin seeds. And for the peanut butter, try using sunflower seed butter, which is a great source of vitamin E, protein, magnesium and healthy fats.
