Why should I take protein?

If you leave an active lifestyle, during your workout or activity you are actually tearing your muscles and protein is what you need to repair them. By refueling yourself with a good protein post workout, you are making your body more efficient, increasing your fat burn and speeding up your metabolism. Result: looking more toned and feeling ready to train again. 


What does protein do to me?

Protein is one of the building blocks that makes you your (cool) self! It basically makes up your hair, nail, bones and muscles - pretty important, right? Your body needs an adequate amount of protein to stay healthy, build muscle and carry oxygen around in your blood. 

Protein is also an essential refuel after a workout or activity. 


How does protein help me with my diet?

Fact: protein keeps you fuller for longer! A high protein intake is linked to many dietary benefits. These include appetite, weight, body composition, aging and overall health. 


It’s HERMOSA a meal replacement?

HERMOSA is not a meal replacement, it's simply a (cool AF) refuel. It’s clean, high quality ingredients will repair your torn muscles quicker so that you are ready to train/surf/rollerskate (whatever your bag!) all over again. 


Will HERMOSA help me bulk up?

HERMOSA is the perfect refuel that will promote a faster recovery after your workout, meaning you’ll be ready to go again quicker. More training = more results, right?! 

Refuelling with HERMOSA also helps repair torn muscle tissue and build lean muscle. If your objective is to bulk up, you will need further changes in your nutrition. Please follow the advice of a qualified nutritionist. 


I am worried HERMOSA will make me bulky - will I look like Arnie Schwarzenegger? 

Short answer - no! HERMOSA makes your post workout recovery more efficient. It increases your metabolism and will enable you to burn fat instead of your lean muscle. 

HERMOSA is a great way for you to start improving your diet, but as a supplement, it certainly won’t bulk you up. Please seek the advice of a qualified nutritionist if you are looking to change your body composition. 


Can I have HERMOSA during pregnancy?

We get asked this a lot - good news, the answer is YES! Under normal circumstances, pregnant women can continue to use HERMOSA as our product doesn’t contain any hormones or additives (phew!) However, every person and every pregnancy is unique so we always advise our clients to show their GP our products’ nutritional information and seek their medical opinion. 


Can my child have HERMOSA?

More good news, YES! HERMOSA is a refined protein source made from naturally sourced ingredients (milk, pea and hemp). As children grow they require protein for growth - whey/pea protein is an amazing source of protein. 

Whey protein and milk proteins are already found in countless products consumed by children so adding another is totally fine. 

Our serving recommendation is to give your children a half portion of HERMOSA (1 scoop from a jar, ½ scoop from the pouch or ½ sachet.) This is a safe and effective way to introduce a healthy amount of high quality protein into a child’s diet.


Can I try a sample before I buy? 

We don’t send out samples but we do sell our gorgeous individual servings in a box of 10 which is a great intro to your HERMOSA journey. We are pretty confident that you’ll love it anyway! 


What is the recommended dose of HERMOSA a day?

30g (1 scoop from pouches, 2 scoops from jars, 1 full sachet). If you are looking into increasing your overall protein intake as part of a macro count, you can have 60g. 

Oh and always serve in a HERMOSA tumbler ;) 


How long does it take for my order to be delivered? 

Standard deliveries: Within 48-72 working hours. Next day delivery: within 24 working hours.

(Next day delivery will be applicable on any orders placed before 16pm Mon-Fri.)

 

Can I exchange my flavour?

Of course, send us an email to info@livehermosa.com. Please be aware that you’ll have to pay for both the return and replacement delivery fee



How can I change my address?

Unfortunately once the order has been placed we are unable to make any changes, including your address. However, you can change your address for future orders by logging into your account. For subscriptions, please email info@livehermosa.com to request the change. Thank you!


I have a discount code, but I can’t find where to use it

You will find it just before the payment page. 


I forgot to use my discount code, can I get a refund for the amount?

We are not able to make any changes to an order once the order has been placed. 

Most of our promotion codes are good for 45 days and 6 months, so be sure to hold onto your code. If the system does not accept the code, you will need to contact us prior to submitting the order so we can assist you further. 


Can I use a discount code in addition to my subscription?

Promotional codes don’t work in conjunction with any other promotions, including subscriptions


I am a subscriber, why am I being charged for delivery?

Subscribers get a 15% discount on every order we send. We only provide free delivery when a specific promotion is being run but don’t worry, our subscribers can always benefit from these too.  


What do I do if my jar arrives broken? 

Being a sustainable brand has its challenges. We apologise for the inconvenience. Please contact info@livehermosa.com with photos of your jar and your order number. Thank you for bearing with us


My product got delivered, but the pouch was opened and the product was spilled in the box. Is this normal?

Can I pause my subscription?

You can pause your subscription at any time. Simply sign in to your account > Subscriptions > Manage subscription > Pause subscription. Any other issues, please contact info@livehermosa.com

Can I change my subscriptions to be sent to me every 2 or 6 weeks instead?

I changed my address on my account, but my subscription got sent to my old address. How can I fix this?

I want to cancel my order. What do I need to do to get a refund?

Once the order has been placed we are unable to cancel it and it will be on it’s way to you. For most products bought online you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund. Please contact our customer service team if you change your mind within 14 via email at info@livehermosa.com.

Please be aware that we will only pay the costs of return if the products are faulty or misdescribed. In all other circumstances (including where you are exercising your right to change your mind) you must pay the costs of return.


Do you ship internationally?

We currently deliver all our products to the UK and all products except our jars to the US

Was your Next day delivery order placed after 16:00pm? Next day delivery orders placed after 16.00pm will be delivered the next available working day.

 

What’s the difference between the Whey and Vegan HERMOSA? 

Our whey protein is made from whey protein concentrate - AKA Milk! whereas our vegan HERMOSA is made from a blend of pea protein and white hemp. As our whey is made from an animal product, it is not suitable for vegans. The other ingredients we use in both products are all plant based.
